Top of the world - Horizontal Falls and more

Well we just got back from having the most excellent day so far. We have done so much in the last 3 months but this would have to be near the top of the list if not AT the top. We may have really blown the budget but it was worth ever cent. This little post is for the McCulley family who missed this one part of Oz on their adventure. We have loads and loads of fantastic photos but here is a preview until we get home. We took a 4x4 truck to Beagle Bay Community and had a look at the famous church of shells, from there to Cape Leveque for breakfast. Next over to One Arm Point Aboriginal community and a tour around the Hatchery (this is actually for producing Trocher shells but had a menagerie of marine life). Next we boarded our sea plane and flew over the Buccaneer Archipelago and over the Horizontal Falls, just happens todays tide is 10m and the falls are a pumpin" We land and take the 600 hp fast boat to the falls and then through the fall wahoooo! what a feeling, couldn't wipe the smile of our faces. We head back to the house boat for a Barra BBQ then its back on the fast boat for a tour down the Talbot River. Time to go home so back on the sea plane for a trip back to Broome. Man o man what a fantastic day!!!!!!!!!!!! Click on photos below to enlarge. Can you believe the colour of this water!!  Ohh I nearly forgot we got in the shark cage to swim with the sharks... how could I forget that!
