Our last 2 days in Darwin went off with a bang literally. We had a great night at mindil markets, tasting the great variety of foods on offer and sampling the talents of the buskers. We also watched the sunset into the ocean with the rest of the Darwin population.. you should see how many people came to watch the sun go down...............

Friday night Janine and Ian packed us off to the beach front again to let off the display of fire works they and friends and neighbours had purchased. I think we were expecting a few fizz bangs but what we got was entirely different. Huge shooting displays of fountains and rockets which went off and went off and went off. We got to bed around midnight to hear the noise of crackers going off sporadically until 3am ahhh sweet silence.. until 7am when some nutter started off again ( must have woke from his drunken stupor and realised he still had stock) Don't they get it... you can't see fire works in the daylight guys.
